The project began with a full front-of-house strip back, removing existing panelling, fixtures and furniture to expose the original structure and prepare the space for refurbishment. Structural repairs were completed to the party wall, alongside replacement of rotting timbers to the shop fascia.
Externally, the forecourt and stairwell surrounds were jet washed and re-sanded, before the façade was fully redecorated and finished with reclaimed timber cladding and new signage to create a stronger street presence.
Internally, we delivered a full fit-out including reclaimed timber wall cladding, brick slip feature finishes, LVT flooring, digital menu screen installations, and bespoke steel framework for custom log dividers and product display stands.
The design transformed the venue into a warm, character-led hospitality space with a distinctive identity.
A key success of the project was the programme delivery. All works were completed within a short time frame while allowing the restaurant to continue trading each evening as usual, minimising disruption and providing significant value to the client.
